Fair questions

Is this legal advice?

No. Quorum is software: it organizes the steps, documents, votes, and deadlines of forming and running a nonprofit. The templates are strong starting points, but you should have an attorney review your bylaws and filings — the checklist even reminds you when.

Which states does it support?

We're launching with the California edition — the checklist, filing links, and deadlines are built for the CA Secretary of State, Franchise Tax Board, and Attorney General (plus the IRS, which is the same everywhere). More states follow based on member demand — tell us yours at support@quorumsuite.com and we will prioritize it.

My nonprofit already exists. Is this still useful?

Yes — the board side is half the product: motions and voting, e-signatures, meeting scheduling with Zoom, compliance deadline reminders, and member access controls. The checklist simply starts with your remaining steps checked off.

Do my board members need to be technical?

If they can tap a link in an email, they can use Quorum. Directors get a simple login, a big Vote button, and a signature page. It works in any browser and installs on a phone like an app.

How are e-signatures handled?

Through an integrated e-signature service with signed audit trails. Each signer gets a personal signing link by email; the document's status updates in the portal as signatures come in.

Was this actually used to start a nonprofit?

Yes. Quorum began as the internal portal for Adams Infinite Legacy, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation — every feature exists because a real founder needed it during a real launch. That organization runs on it today.
